On Gay McKeons first album he was joined on several tracks by his young sons, Conor and Sean. Some years later the lads have matured into young men and have in the process become master pipers. On this CD their status is equal to that of their father.
They play several sets of tunes together, granting us the pleasure of hearing three sets of pipes, made by the same maker, with every reed in perfect tune, and played by three master pipers who know each other by virtue of the fact that they have always lived in the same house. Each plays solo tracks and each brings the art of the piper as close to perfection as can be done. Necessary listening.
