Maire Ni Chathasaigh is an outstanding harper and her gentle style is complemented well by guitarist Chris Newman, best known for his solo album Fretwork. This has been Some three years in the making. The album contains a couple of 17th century harp airs, an original reel from Maire as well as three other sets of traditional dance tunes. M?ire sings a couple of songs - one each in English and Irish - and there are new compositions by Andy Hornby, Paul Buckley and Chris Newman. Also features Nollaig Casey on Fiddle.
