The Wolfe Tones have been singing out for a united Ireland for 25 years. Through their words, music, songs, and charismatic stage presence, they transform audiences around the world into a positive force for a peaceful, tolerant Ireland.
There's a plethora of nationalistic songs on Let The People Sing, such as "A Nation Once Again", with its powerful chorus sung by all four Wolfe Tones. On "For Ireland I'd Not Tell Her Name" Tommy Byrne sings with a high, lilting, full voice that adds great depth to the patriotic lyric. "Saint Paddy Lie Back" is a rousing jig about braving the sea, and "The First of May" is a sweet love ballad set during the spring season in Ireland. The Wolfe Tones just may be Ireland's greatest singing ambassadors.
