This is a great collection of live recordings – mostly taken from Mary Black’s UK tour in 2002. There is lovely version of 'The poison Tree', available in a different version on the last Woman's Heart album but the highlight for me is the brilliant 'Ellis Island' with its fantastic instrumental which leads into 'Spanish Lady' and out again to Pat Crowley's great piano finale. Anyone who saw that 2002 tour and was blown away by the 15 minutes of this will have a permanent reminder of its brilliance. Any Mary Black fan will treasure this for ever and if you are not a great fan, buy it and you probably will be.
