Having successfully recorded albums in various genres such as jazz, rock and skiffle, Van Morrison turns his hand to country for this, his first recording for Lost Highway. The album features fifteen tracks, twelve of which are classics written by some of country's most famous names including Hank Williams, Emmylou Harris and Conway Twitty. Also included are three tracks penned by Morrison himself which fit perfectly into this country set.
