A must for fair city fans, this commemorative DVD takes a look back at 20 years of Ireland’s favorite soap.
Fair city is set in Carrigstown, a fictional suburb of Northside Dublin, Carrigstown is bounded by Drumcondra to the north, the city centre to the south, East Wall to the east and Phibsboro to the west.
When fair city started in 1989, the series focused on four families. The O`Hanlons, the Kellys, the Clarkes and the Corcorans. During the 90`s the Phelan, Doyle and Molloy families were introduced and dominated story lines for that decade. the Halpin family was gradually introduced in the early 2000`s, but since then the shows focus has drifted to individual characters more than family groupings, and has grown to include the wider community of Carrigstown.
