Complete first series of the popular BBC comedy drama, based around an English priest in a small Irish community under the control of a devious entrepreneur. In 'Trying to Connect You', Father Clifford (stephen tomkinson)) arrives in the village and has to deal with a young woman who wants advice on what it'll be like to live with her fianc once they are married. In 'The Things We Do For Love', Clifford gets involved with local accusations about toxic fertiliser. In 'Live in My Heart and Pay No Rent', Niamh's (tina kellegher) fianc decides at the last minute that he should become a priest, and Father Clifford has to talk him out of it and convince him to go on with the wedding. In 'Fallen Angel', a new pirate radio station starts operating in the village. In 'The Power and the Glory', a local MP dies, and Quigley (tony doyle) begins campaigning. Finally, in 'Missing You Already', Assumpta (dervela kirwan) learns that Father Clifford may be sent back to England.
