In many ways a journey through the best of Donal Lunny is a journey through the progress of Irish folk music of the last 25 years. This excellent 2 disc compilation features many of the most seminal bands in Irish music; Planxty, The Bothy Band, the great Moving Hearts and latterly Coolfin each redefined the tradition in turn. The heart of this collections the collaboration between Donal and many of the major pan-Celtic musicians of our time.
