This album features nostalgic classic songs from the past 50 years and includes powerful tracks like The Boxer by Simon and Garfunkel, My Life by Shirley Bassey, Softly as I leave You by Matt Munroe and, a huge musical classic from Willie Russell’s Blood Brothers, Tell me its not true - all sang in Tommy’s unique and powerful style backed by a full 60 piece Concert Orchestra and Tommy’s band which has resulted in one of the biggest recordings of Tommy’s album releases throughout his career.
This album is one certainly not to be missed. Going Back is an album that is like none other that Tommy has ever recorded and also includes Smile, Raindrops Keep falling on my Head, You’ll Never Walk Alone, Vincent and of course the title track Goin Back by Dusty Springfield - all chosen from music that has influenced his career and a project he has longed to complete for many years.
