Since the distinction of gaining the highest award possible for musical performance at The Royal Conservatory in the Netherlands, Andreja Malir has enjoyed a solo career which has brought her to Germany, Sweden, Spain. Switzerland, Israel, France, Belgium and the Czech Republic. In 1988 Andreja was one of the youngest principals to be appointed to the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland and has appeared many times as soloist with the N.S.O.I. playing all the major Harp concerti.
Andreja Mali? has created a beautiful new medium for this most ethereal of instruments, the harp. The feel of the beautiful origionals and well-known pieces is definitely Celtic, enhanced by the lucious sound of the concert harp and superb orchestrations.
Through the Mirror of Sound features the vocal talents of Méav Ní Mhaolchatha .
